FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What does CSA stand for?
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture, a system where individuals support a farm by purchasing a "share" of its products in advance. In return, they receive fresh, locally grown goods—like our toxin-free flowers.
- Members pay before the season begins, providing farms with critical funds for early-season operations.
- CSA shares are typically valued based on farmers' market prices and are a great way to enjoy fresh, seasonal blooms while supporting local farmers.
When is the first CSA pick-up week?
You’ll receive an email notification 1–2 weeks before the first pickup day of your chosen CSA season.
Can I get a share every other week instead of weekly?
Currently, we only offer a weekly CSA bouquet share.
What if I’m out of town on my bouquet pick-up day?
Please arrange for a friend to pick up your bouquet and notify us via email with their name so we know who to expect.
What if I forget to pick up my bouquet?
Unfortunately, we cannot reschedule missed pickups. Please be sure to collect your bouquet during the two-day pick-up window.
Can I purchase an extra bouquet when I pick up my share?
Extra bouquets may sometimes be available. If you’re interested, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance to check availability.
Can I buy more than two Summer CSA shares?
Yes! We’re thrilled by your interest, and you’re welcome to purchase additional shares for friends or loved ones.
Can I gift a Bouquet CSA?
Absolutely! Our CSA is a perfect gift. When ordering, please provide the recipient’s name, email address, and phone number. If you’d like a printable gift certificate for the recipient, just let us know via email, and we’ll send one your way.
How can I make my blooms last longer?
Our flowers are freshly cut (often the morning of or the day before pickup!), but here are some tips to maximize vase life:
- Keep flowers out of direct sunlight.
- Avoid placing them near fruits or vegetables.
- Change the water daily to prevent bacteria buildup.
- Remove any dead blooms.
- After 4–5 days, trim the stems and transfer to a shorter vase to extend their life.
Important Note: Our flowers are for display only. Some varieties may be toxic if ingested, so keep them out of reach of young children and pets.
